I just thought I'd let you know about the news regarding '50 Berkeley Square.' Since its first publication through Partridge Africa, the book has not gained the sales figures expected for a book of its nature. No, its not because it isn't very good (well me and my mother don't think so), it is because of the ridiculous price set by the publishers for a product of its nature.
I have sold the many of the copies I had printed at a hugely discounted price, just to recoup some of the monies that I had spent bringing this book to to life but have I have taken a significant hit in the wallet as a result of the pricing issues.
Thankfully, I now have another publishing company interested in rebranding the book and giving it a bit of a facelift. But the most significant part of the process of this rebranding is that the new price for 50 BS, whether it be as an ebook or paperback, the prices will reflect the market prices for books of a likewise size and nature.
I am very excited about his and it has taken me until now to be able to push forward with this process and I hope that many more readers will get to witness my imaginings of the tales from the immortalised, '50 Berkley Square!"
Stay safe my friends!
